In the afternoon of September 23, 2016, the third Confucius Institute headquarters "open day" will be held in Beijing. Envoys, representatives of language and culture promotion agencies, representatives of some Chinese cooperation institutions in Beijing and golden students from Confucius Institute will be invited to attend the event. The Confucius Institute Headquarters will be open to the public free of charge on the opening day.
With one belt, one road of "multiculturalism", this year's opening day of the headquarters will show a high degree of agreement between the ten year development of Confucius institutes and the "one belt and one way" strategy, and will play a further role in the next ten years in the Confucius Institute. This year's visual subject is a color band with four colors superimposed, which symbolizes that the two silk roads, land and sea, span four continents, and the multi-cultural interaction and integration along the road.

今年总部开放日以“多元文化在丝路”为主题，展现孔子学院十年发展与“一带一路”战略的高度契合，为未来十年孔子学院进一步发挥桥梁作用。今年的视觉主体为四种颜色叠加的彩带，象征海陆两条丝绸之路跨越四大洲，沿路多元文化交相辉映与相互融合。
